Thursday evening. The sun is low in the sky, and the smell of grilled sausages is in the air. The fire crackles in our MIA garden, and a few metres away, two colleagues are engaged in a heated duel – at the table football table.
What sounds like a relaxed summer evening is exactly that – and a wonderful example of how we live our team culture: uncomplicated, genuine and without any grand gestures.
Whether you’re a developer, project manager or member of the management team, at Grill & Chill we all sit on equal footing. Sitting on concrete stools and deck chairs around the fire, with a cool drink in hand, we laugh, chat and sometimes even discuss things – but never deadlines.
We firmly believe that powerful software is created by teams who know and trust each other – and enjoy working together. And that works best when you also meet outside of the everyday working environment.
Grill & Chill was a successful event that allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the day together. There was no agenda, just a great atmosphere. Taking a breather, chatting and laughing is good for a tech team too.
