MIA Systems is aimed at companies with complex intralogistics requirements. Our solutions are used in manual, semi-automated and fully automated warehouse environments – wherever processes need to be reliably controlled, integrated and implemented in a stable manner during ongoing operations.

MIA Systems GmbH was founded in November 2007 under the company name “MIA Systems & Software GmbH” by Alexander Fehr together with Gunz Warenhandels GmbH.

MIA Systems made it into the top 3 of the Austrian Logistics Award with its WMS in the category “Best economic improvement through a logistics tool.” The customer was Wolford AG, headquartered in Bregenz.

At the end of 2016, the strategic partnership with Servus Intralogistics was consolidated and Heron Innovations Factory GmbH acquired a 25.1% stake in MIA Systems

New company logo and name change from MIA Systems & Software GmbH to MIA Systems GmbH

In April 2018, we moved into our office building in Hohenems.

In 2019, MIA Systems received its first project order from China.

KRAL GmbH took first place in the Austrian Logistics Award in the category “Digitalization and Automation in Production and Logistics”. MIA Systems was part of this successful project with its WMS.

In February 2022, a branch was established in Vienna to build up a development team in our capital city.
