Today is Markus’s first day in the warehouse. He’s been searching for a specific box for at least 45 minutes now, and no one knows exactly where it was put. Markus is a bit at a loss and doesn’t want to spend half his workday wandering around the warehouse. His coworker’s response: “No one knows exactly where we put the goods, but seek and you shall find.”

Manual warehouse management often creates unnecessary extra work. There’s little time for time-consuming training and transition, and—to be honest—long-time employees really don’t feel like “learning something completely new right now.” And before introducing some complicated digital solution that nobody understands anyway, people would rather stick with the tried-and-true Excel spreadsheet.

How it all started ...

Innovative digitalization isn’t just relevant for “large” companies. SMEs often struggle with cumbersome administration, unclear responsibilities, and untapped potential. Productivity increases in any warehouse when order and logic prevail. When this innovation is combined with professional guidance and support, the result is warehouse management software. These are precisely the ideas behind our MIA WMS Core.

The basic version of our Warehouse Management System includes all the essential processes needed to transform a warehouse into a modern logistics center. After all, what defines a logistics center is not its size, but the optimized warehouse processes that can be ensured through digitalization.

Markus, who “wanders around the warehouse,” would have a precise overview of inventory on his MIA Mobile and would no longer have to search—he’d be guided instead. By tagging loading units and storage locations, the system shows him at a glance where the goods he’s looking for are located and guides him directly there via the shortest route. He now recoups the time he previously spent wandering around and can use it for everything else.

Therefore, every warehouse deserves to be organized.

Good software isn't created on our whiteboard—it's created in real-world operations

On-site, with the people who work with it every day and critically examine their workflows—that’s where we want to be. In warehouses that hold so much potential, the only thing missing is our WMS Core. With its simple and intuitive interface, our software guides warehouse processes smoothly and with virtually no errors through daily operations. Thanks to the cloud-based system, you don’t need a lengthy installation process or a complex, traditional IT project. Furthermore, integrating an ERP system isn’t strictly necessary. The software is up and running in no time and, thanks to a flexible licensing system covering both software and services, can be tailored precisely to customer needs.

MIA WMS Core and you?

To test MIA WMS Core in a real-world environment, we’re looking for partners who see themselves in Markus. You can expect close support, fair terms, and the opportunity to help shape the project directly.

You are not quite sure yet?

At Movatec at the convention center, on 23. September and 24, we can get to know each other with no obligation, and you’re welcome to try out our demo version.

If you already have a specific idea in mind and don’t want to wait any longer, please contact us directly, and we’ll review your situation together.
