The camera is integrated directly into the scanner, eliminating the need to switch between devices or applications. The feature is very flexible and opens up many possibilities for use throughout the entire process chain:
- Record defects in goods receipt and register them as a reference to the incoming goods
- Record the contents of the loading device and the condition of the goods at all times during storage
- Record packaging contents in the opened shipping unit during picking
- Document transport securing before loading
- Store the condition and size of the consignment directly before loading the truck
The application in the mobile process is very simple: As with a normal cell phone camera, you first select the correct view with a live view. If everything fits, take the picture with the desired reference. If it is still not the perfect image, repeat these steps as often as you like.
Reference photos in an overview
Once the data has been recorded, it is stored directly in the MIA Warehouse Management System via the server. The photo documentation can then be called up in the MIA Cockpit. Simple filing structures for the references will get you to the desired result quickly. Here you will find an overview of all reference-related photos, which you can view in detail and download directly.
