Our customer, the Komax Group<\/a>, is a globally active company headquartered in Switzerland. As the market leader in automated wire processing, Komax provides its customers with innovative and sustainable solutions, primarily in the automotive, aviation, telecommunications and industrial sectors. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With its new company building, Komax has opted for the \u201cvertical factory\u201d concept, which requires an efficient intralogistics system. In addition to assembly workstations, the 6-storey building also offers offices for research and development. The fully automated small parts warehouse ( ASRS) in the basement supplies the floors with the required materials via picking stations using autonomous transport robots from our partner Servus Intralogistics. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At Komax, MIA successfully uses its Warehouse Management System (WMS) and integrates the pick-by-light solution at the workstations. Flexible compartment subdivisions in the loading devices and the compartment visualization on the MIA I-Point touch screen reduce picking errors to a minimum. This significantly increases delivery quality. At the same time, the compartment subdivision allows the stock to be compressed, creating additional space in the warehouse. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Handling on the I-Point touch screen is ideally complemented. Hands-free scanners from ProGlove, the pick-by-light system, a fully integrated scale and height measurement for maximum height are used. The MIA I-Point touch screen provides precise information and guides employees effectively through the logistics processes. The hands-free scanner ensures both complete scan control and use without the need for an additional handle. At the same time, Pick-by-Light minimizes search times in the bin. The scales not only check the maximum weight of each bin, but also ensure that the weight limits are adhered to. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The result is short training times. Productivity and employee acceptance are also increased. Picking errors are also reduced to a minimum. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
