Digitalization and automation present companies with major challenges. Automated small parts warehouses, driverless transport systems, cloud software, business intelligence and the ongoing optimization of logistics processes are the new standard. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

However, user-friendliness and user interfaces are often neglected, especially with this high investment volume. This results in falling productivity and low employee acceptance, high training costs and an increase in support requests. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With its warehouse management system<\/a>, MIA Systems places great emphasis on the user experience (UX) with appealing user interfaces (UI). The user is at the center of all considerations. Clear design, a clear navigation structure and intuitive usability are the result. Employees are guided step by step through the processes, which leads to greater efficiency and time and cost savings. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Reaching the desired goal with agile methods and design thinking\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Agile approaches are the ideal complement to this approach. Scrum is the method used at MIA. It enables you to keep your focus on the essentials during implementation and to respond quickly to changes. The product owner – the expert for the processes – defines the user stories together with the team – the specification with the desired goal, acceptance criteria and test definitions.<\/span><\/p>

The UX\/UI team then takes care of the user-friendliness of the feature – detailed, interactive prototypes are already available to the customer and the development team during the conception phase. The development team implements the requirements in short sprints of 3 weeks and QA carries out the rollout directly after the sprints – executable and tested partial results are thus available to the user for the entire duration of the project.<\/span><\/p>

The user and the actual goal are always the focus during implementation.<\/p>
